Who am I?

I’m Nathan Pope, a graphic designer and consultant from Long Beach, CA. I specialize in designing all forms of printed materials and illustration. I am also available for web design.

Why would you work with me?

I do a lot
My clients tend to need the multi-talented approach that a larger team can offer, in situations where hiring a full team may not make sense.

I’m small
If you have a question about anything from design mockups to billing, you only have to go through one person. I’m accountable every step of the way. Someone has to be the little guy in an increasingly agency-run industry. I’m happy to be that guy.

I don’t need a lot of watering
My clients are usually looking for a plug-and-play graphic designer, someone who doesn’t need to spend weeks in meetings to be able to jump in and start working.

Why work with another agency?

I don’t do it all
If you are looking for extensive database programming, heavy flash based websites or have other requirements outside of my core competencies I might not be the person you’re looking for. Unsure? Feel free to tell me about your project.

I’m small
I can’t take on projects that extend beyond 18 months or large-scale work that would require a team.

You need your design immediately
Most of the projects I work on need at least a month to complete. The words “tight deadline” usually are a good indication that I might have to pass, but never say never. If I find the project appealing enough and their is an appropriately sized hole in my schedule, things might be a bit more flexible.
